About Me.

Venkat Kokku is a data scientist specializing in marketing analytics, media modeling, and business intelligence. He currently works at Universal Destinations & Experiences (NBCUniversal), where he leads high-impact analytical initiatives that influence multi-million-dollar marketing strategies.

His work includes building custom Marketing Mix Models (MMM), developing time-series forecasting models, and designing interactive Flask-based budget simulators to evaluate what-if media scenarios. His analytics guided the marketing strategy for the launch of Epic Universe, helping shift investment from performance-heavy to brand-building channels.

Venkat holds a Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems from University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications from Vellore Institute of Technology. He is a Beta Gamma Sigma inductee. His proficiency in Python, SQL, alongside his tools like Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and Tableau, equips him to navigate the complexities of modern data ecosystems seamlessly

Outside of work, he enjoys video games, following cricket, and working on optimization tools for media planners. His long-term goal is to advance evidence-based marketing through data storytelling and decision simulation.
